About Me

Hello, my name is Luisa Rincon.
Why UX?
I love working with data, challenges, and people. UX design stimulates me mentally, I love finding solutions for my users and seeing the design’s progress. The process of creating a solution that impacts lives, being challenged mentally to constantly find a better solution to the problem, and my love for UX Design as a whole is what motivates me to pursue this field.
Outside of UX
I love to watch films from around the world. My favorite movie is Bong Joon Ho's Memories of Murder. This movie sparked my love for true crime; I definitely recommend it to those who haven't watched it yet. I also write poetry in my free time, here's the link to a poem I wrote a few years back.
I am an interdisciplinary designer who prioritizes user-centric designs that stand on a strong foundation of UX research as well as effective and aesthetic UI design.
Prior to my career as a UX Designer, I was a Customer Service Trainer for a major retailer. I trained 150+ employees in customer service in a corporate setting and was in charge of the customer experience of my assigned store. This experience allowed me to collaborate with a diverse group of people as I discovered my users' needs, collected and applied user feedback, and uncovered solutions to provide them with the best experience possible. I was practicing UX even before I knew what it was!
Consistency is my superpower. I hold myself responsible for achieving the highest level of performance in everything I do, which has allowed me to remain focused and exceed the expectations of my past employers.
My experience includes conducting research for a German Med Tech startup preparing to enter the U.S. market, designing a design system and website for a health charity, and conducting research and designing a grant application sponsored by the U.S. Census.
I will continue to create tailored and effective designs and would love the chance to grow alongside your company.
